Wellbeing

Welcome to our Mental Health and Wellbeing page.

At Chapel Street Primary School we are committed to looking after the mental health and wellbeing of all our staff and pupils – we see this as everyone’s responsibility and provide a duty of care to everyone.

We see the importance of noticing the signs and taking note of our feelings. It is important to talk about your feelings and remember there is always someone here to listen to you. We encourage everyone to talk and it is ok to not be ok.

If you ever feel as though you need to talk to someone, please get in touch with us – we are more than happy to help. Every member of staff is committed to help you and your child.

We can look into how you are feeling, put in helpful strategies and provide further support if you require it.

In school, we have three members of staff that are trained mental health first aiders to support the children with any mental health difficulties.
