Half Term Activities

If you're looking for something fun to do during the half term break, there are plenty of activities available for you and your children across Greater Manchester.

Each half term, we will share information below from different providers. All providers will have different contact information and different ways you can sign up - please read the information carefully and, if you're unsure, please use the contact details provided on their flyer if you have any questions.

Here at Kingsway Athletic FC, community is at the heart of our organisation, where we want to provide sports opportunities and enrichment for pupils.

Our aim is to develop and nurture young people, and we believe every pupil deserves to access sport as it is at the heart of well-being and socialising. Our professional coaches are FA qualified and DBS checked, trained with working with young children providing them with a safe and educational environment for them to grow.

Kingsway Athletic have partnered up with Manchester Local Authorities and HAF Funding to be able to offer children eligible for benefit-related free school meals the chance to access four days of action-packed activities during May Half-Term including football, basketball, cycling, arts & crafts, netball and more.

Sessions are from Tuesday 28th May to Saturday 1st June.

During 2024, Manchester Active and Manchester City Council are offering hundreds of FREE places for children eligible for benefit related free school meals to access a variety of activities over the school holiday periods.

Eligibility checks have changed for 2024 and the registration system will automatically recognise those who are eligible, with a booking code no longer being issued.
