Half Term Activities

If you're looking for something fun to do during the half term break, there are plenty of activities available for you and your children across Greater Manchester.

Each half term, we will share information below from different providers. All providers will have different contact information and different ways you can sign up - please read the information carefully and, if you're unsure, please use the contact details provided on their flyer if you have any questions.

School holidays are coming!

Did you know there are thousands of FREE places for children's activities over the school holidays?

PLUS each booked session will include a FREE meal.

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 to get involved:

  1. Register for FREE benefits-related school meals
  2. Create a family 'MCRactive Go' account
  3. Find and book your sessions on the Activity Finder.

Cede Foundation is running a free half term holiday activities and food (HAF) programme for children aged 5 to 16 this October.

The club will run from 27th - 30th October, 10am - 2pm daily, at Cheetham Hill, Clayton and Longsight.

Children will enjoy a mix of sports, creative activities, games, team challenges and a trip to the National Football Museum. Free hot, healthy meals will be provided daily.

Eligibility: Children who receive benefits-related free school meals (FSM).
